Our MissionThe Association seeks to represent the interest of its members in the building and construction industry within Victoria thereby providing a voice for the walls and ceilings industries. Providing industrial relations, training and occupational health and safety services to members the Association also enables members to present a combined voice in dealing with manufacturers, suppliers and unions on any issue affecting their businesses. By joining the AWCIV you can ensure your voice is heard within the industry: · keep abreast of new products · encourage modification of change in existing products · meet manufacturers and suppliers · ensure your compliance with legislative requirements · keep informed of wages and conditions changes · have input into industrial negotiations From a business point of view, the Association will provide you with essential information (wages, conditions, OH&S etc) and industrial support should you require it together with industry contacts for your technical and supply issues.
